Canon Power Shot Digital Camera - What's the Best Canon Power Shot Camera?

If you ask me what the best camera is I would have to say the Canon Power Shot A70 Digital Camera is at the top of the list. I've owned mine for over 5 years and without a problem, it definitely is a great little camera with 3.2 Mega pixels and a 3X optical zoom. At the time I bought it, it was the highest rated camera at the time for 0 bucks.

I've been searching for a new camera to upgrade the A70 [ It still works fine will keep it for a spare] After months of research and reading reviews there's 2 camera's that can live up to my expectations. The first is the Canon Power Shot s51s Digital Camera and the second is the a620. Both are highly rated and very user friendly.

The a620 is compact and lightweight with a new sleeker design offering 7.1 mega pixels...4X optical zoom and the exclusive Digic II processor and a 2-inch LCD screen.

The s51s is also very compact and lightweight and can easily fit in your pocket. Offers 8 mega pixels 12X optical zoom [this is a great feature...you can really zoom up close] and is equipped with the Digic III image processor with a 2.5- inch variable angle LCD screen.

Both of these Canon Power Shot Digital Cameras are in the 0 to 0 range and offer outstanding value. As you might have guessed I'm going to choose the s51s over the a620 because you get nearly 1 mega pixel more and a 2.5-inch LCD. But the main reason was the 12X optical zoom.
